The Omelet Buster™ delivers two cooking positions on a single 120V outlet – a first for commercial induction cooktops. The US version delivers 900 watts per side, while the 200-240V international version packs 1200 watts per side. Both versions are more than capable of cooking a three egg omelet in a little over a minute and a half.
The unit is very compact at approximately 20” x 11” x 3” (51 x 28 x 8cm) and lightweight at under 10 lbs (4.5kg), making it very portable and easy to stow.
It is supplied complete with two 8” (20cm) high-quality sauté pans, as a “ready-to-go” egg station cooking solution. With no flames and ultra low energy cost, the unit proved to be a hit at the show with attendees from country-clubs and hotels. Show visitors were interested to learn that the unit is not just limited to eggs – tests have shown it quite capable of cooking a variety of individual-serving sized dishes.
